Big Dummy...

I generally learn best through simple trial and error. Like today, I wrestled with a pesky Computer problem for several hours, but I learned, like a dummy that we are sometimes, that the fine print will kill you sometimes. Simple words like 'and' and 'select', they will trip you up beyond belief.
Those simple words cost me several hours of trial and error today. How soon we forget the simplest of things like paying attention.
Today, Friends, have a laugh on me for being a big dummy.

'If you don't succeed at first, try try again.'
This phrase is all too familiar to most of us. When you think about time travel, it becomes even more familiar. With time travel, you could revisit one point in time over and over again.
Do you remember the movie 'Groundhog Day'? This would actually be possible if time travel were a reality. We could regress to any point of time over and over, but unlike Bill Murray, we would not retain our memories of the past day.

What we think, we do?

Our thoughts are a reflection of us and our personalities. Is this not true? Well, not necessarily. a writer has to think I lot of different things so he or she can tell a good story. If we create a bad character, does that mean that we are bad people? Certainly not! If I think about doing somebody wrong, does that mean that I am a  murderous person just for thinking such thing? Definitely not!

I do think that if I have a pattern of thinking such thoughts repetitiously, then I would have a tendency toward such behaviors, but I cannot limit my characters to overall whimsical saint hood. There’s is such a thing as creative license that transcends these matters. It is the same thing with actors that are overall good people playing bad rolls. When they play rolls that are contradictory to what they are as a person, those roll traits are quickly dispelled.

The human ability to do these things with no lasting effects is evidence to the human indomitable spirit.

Where do black holes go

Do black holes go anywhere? There are some that suggest that they function like wormholes and lead to another part of our universe. Others believe that they are pockets of space that are the ‘missing mass’ of our universe. Still others think they lead to different dimensions, other universes. In every case, all believe that they distort time.

What do you think?
